You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind under Irish and EU law, and we also accept returns within 15 days of purchase, whichever is later. An unopened bag of treats can come back; a sealed bag opened after delivery cannot, for hygiene reasons. You cover the return postage, and we refund the price and the standard delivery charge with no handling fee.
If it arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, none of that applies. We put it right at our cost, return postage included.
Looking after it
Give it under supervision. Take it away if the seams open or the squeaker is exposed, and replace it once it is chewed through.
About this product
A soft toy with a squeak, for the dog that carries things around.
Plush, light and easy to pick up. Made to be carried, shaken and squeaked rather than shredded.
A plush donkey with a squeaker in it. Light enough for a dog to carry around the house, which is most of what a soft toy is for.
It is a toy rather than a chew. A determined chewer will get through it, and that is true of every plush toy.
Give it under supervision, and take it away once the seams open or the squeaker is exposed.
Some dogs want something to chew and some want something to carry. This one is for the second kind: a light plush donkey with a squeaker, easy to pick up and easy to shake.
It is not a chew and does not pretend to be. Plush gives way to a determined chewer, so the honest advice is to give it under supervision and take it away when a seam opens.
Once the squeaker is exposed it is finished, and it should be thrown out rather than repaired.
Still deciding?
Not sure yet? That is fine.

Got questions?
Frequently Asked Questions
What is it made of?
Plush fabric with a squeaker inside.
Is it a chew toy?
It is a soft toy. A determined chewer will get through it, which is true of every plush toy, so give it under supervision.
Does it squeak?
Yes. The squeaker is inside the body of the toy.
What size is it?
It is a light plush toy sized to be carried. If you need an exact measurement for your dog, email us and we will measure one.
Is it safe for a puppy?
Give it under supervision and take it away if a seam opens. Ask your vet about your own puppy.
Can it go in the washing machine?
We do not recommend it. The squeaker is not made to be soaked.
What do I do when it gets chewed?
Take it away and throw it out. A toy with an exposed squeaker is finished.
Is the squeaker replaceable?
No. It is sewn inside.
Will it last with a heavy chewer?
No, and we would not sell it as one. A heavy chewer wants the pig ears.
Does it float?
We have not tested it in water and would rather not guess.
Is it stuffed?
Yes, it is a stuffed plush toy.
What colour is it?
It is the donkey shown in the photographs on this page.
Can I buy more than one?
Yes. Add the quantity you want to the cart.
Do you sell other toys?
Not today. This store sells the pig ears and this one toy.
Is it suitable for cats?
It is made for dogs. Anything with a squeaker needs supervision either way.
Does it come in a box?
No. It ships as the toy.
How do I clean it?
Wipe it with a damp cloth and let it dry fully.
Is it new?
Yes. Everything sold here is new.
Do you deliver across Ireland?
Yes. Delivery is €25 and free on orders of €75 or more.
How long does delivery take?
Five to seven days, after a 24 to 48 hour handling time. Delivery time varies by location.
Is delivery free?
It is free on orders of €75 or more. Below that it is €25.
Can I return it?
Yes. You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind under Irish and EU law, and we also accept returns within 15 days of purchase, whichever is later. You pay the return postage on a change of mind, and we refund the price and the standard delivery charge, with no handling fee. If it arrives damaged or is not what was described, contact us and we will put it right at our cost.
Can I cancel an order?
Yes, free of charge, until it ships. Most orders ship within 24 hours, so contact us within 12 hours of ordering.
What if it arrives damaged?
Contact us with your order number and photographs and we will sort it out at our cost.
Do you sell wholesale?
Yes. Use the wholesale quote form and tell us the quantity you need.
How do I track my order?
You get a tracking number by email as soon as the order ships, and the track your parcel page takes it.
Do items in one order ship together?
Not always. For logistical reasons items in the same purchase may be sent in separate packages.
Who do I contact about an order?
Email the team. Most emails are answered within one business day.
Do you sell in stores?
No. This is an online only shop with no showroom.
Is there a guarantee?
If your dog does not take to it, contact us. The store's returns policy is on the refunds and returns page.
